Which way to us?

The premises of the St. Anne’s University Hospital in Brno can be reached on foot or by car. The main entrance for vehicles is located on Mendel Square and is open 24 hours a day. There are three main entrances for pedestrians, which are open on weekdays from 5:00 to 20:00, on weekends from 14:00 to 20:00:

  • rom Pekařská Street, where the Information Center is located
  • from Hybešova Street
  • through the Millenium Building (Hybešova 42)

If you are unsure or need advice, use the Information Center in the Hansen Building at the entrance from Pekařská Street.

Patients are allowed to enter the premises. If the vehicle leaves within 15 minutes of the entry time, parking is free. Parking for the first hour from the entry time is 100 CZK for each started hour. Parking over 1 hour from the entry time is 120 CZK for each started hour.

Hospitalized patients are allowed to park in the FNUSA premises (including detached workplaces) for 100 CZK/day.

Parking for disabled citizens

Free entry to the hospital premises is allowed to disabled citizens and parking is provided in reserved places without time restrictions. The route from the reserved parking spaces to the individual entrances to the buildings in the premises is barrier-free – without unevenness.

Parking lot from Mendel Square

This parking lot is NOT owned by St. Anne’s University Hospital in Brno, therefore we cannot influence the price of parking and the technical condition of the parking lot in any way.

Parking

There are reserved parking spaces for people with disabilities in the complex. The route from the reserved parking spaces to the individual entrances to the buildings in the complex is barrier-free – without unevenness.

Public transport

Near the complex are the tram stops Nemocnice u sv. Anny (on Pekařská Street), Mendlovo náměstí and Hybešova. The routes from all stops are barrier-free – without unevenness.

Entrances to buildings

Entrance to all buildings of healthcare facilities in the complex is directly from the sidewalk, from the ramp or lifting platform.

Movement around the complex and buildings

This is a comprehensive complex of historical buildings and modern construction of interconnected multi-storey buildings with healthcare facilities. There are staircases in the buildings, movement around buildings with healthcare facilities is ensured by barrier-free bed elevators.

Lifting platform

The staircase at the main entrance to the premises from Pekařská Street can be overcome by a lifting platform with a button for calling the operator.

Elevators

In buildings with healthcare workplaces, there are freight – bed barrier-free (through elevators with sufficient cabin size) leading to individual floors.

Hygienic facilities

There are barrier-free toilets in the premises buildings, the cabins have standard dimensions, the departments are gradually undergoing reconstruction to today’s standard with sufficient capacity.

The building has 4 floors. The main entrance to the building is from the front access road, there is barrier-free access to the building, there is a platform for the disabled providing access to the ground floor of the building for people with limited mobility. There is barrier-free access for patients from the rear of the building, which leads to the courtyard and garden part of the building. The courtyard section of the building is also accessed from the rear via a second access road. Parking is provided on the access road in front of the building.

The main entrance to the building’s vestibule is from Tvrdého Street. There is also a second access to the building – the entrance to the courtyard section for vehicles. The building houses laboratories, autopsy rooms and offices. The building is not intended for the public.

The building consists of three interconnected buildings, which have 1st to 4th floors. There are 2 entrances to the premises – front and rear entrances from the main road. From the front entrance, only a staircase leads to the main entrance, from the rear entrance there is barrier-free access to the building. Parking is possible in the parking lot on the premises or in public parking spaces in front of the building.

The building consists of three interconnected buildings A, B and C. Access to the building is from Výstavní Street – barrier-free, in buildings A and C there are barrier-free lifts to the individual floors of the building. There is also another access to the building – access from Veletržní Street, which is used only for employees and tenants of the IZP. In building C there are 2 barrier-free toilets in the medical workplaces.
