The Clinic of Occupational Medicine

The Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Clinic is a highly specialised unit providing comprehensive care in the fields of anaesthesiology, intensive care and resuscitation medicine, treatment of acute and chronic pain, and crisis management in the perioperative period. The clinic has 15 beds for the highest level of intensive care and 4 beds for follow-up intensive care. The clinic also includes the Pain Treatment Centre, focusing on comprehensive diagnostics and therapy of chronic pain of both non-oncological and oncological origin. The clinic operates the Academic Centre for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Malignant Hyperthermia, which is the only certified facility of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe.

Our goal is to provide patients with the best possible chance of recovery through comprehensive, highly specialised care during critical periods of their disease by stabilising vital functions, minimising risks, and ensuring the fastest possible transition from the acute phase to a stable condition.
