The 1st Clinic of Dermatovenerology

The 1st Clinic of Dermatovenerology provides outpatient and inpatient care for dermatovenerology patients from Brno and the South Moravian Region, and under specialised programmes from all over the Czech Republic. Outpatient care includes general and specialised outpatient clinics (dermato-allergology, occupational dermatoses, dermato-oncology, pigmented lesions, autoimmune diseases, phototherapy, chronic wound healing, lymphology, dermatosurgery, laser, etc.). The clinic acts as a centre for the biological treatment of psoriasis, atopic eczema, chronic urticaria, hidradenitis, and now alopecia and prurigo, the centre for the treatment of cutaneous lymphomas, and a centre for rare bullous dermatoses of the European Reference Network (ERN). The clinic has two departments with a total capacity of 41 beds, including two above-standard rooms. The range of hospitalised patients includes serious infectious, autoimmune, allergic, and oncological diseases, with an increasing proportion of venereal patients.
