The 1st Internal Cardioangiology Clinic focuses mainly on specialised and highly specialised care in the field of cardiology. It also provides sectoral internal care. Its specialised activities cover all areas of cardiology – invasive and interventional cardiology, acute cardiological care, arrhythmology care including cardiac pacing and electrophysiology, preventive cardiology, and treatment of hypertension. It is also a tertiary centre for the treatment of heart failures linked to the transplantation programme and the mechanical heart support implantation programme, as well as a centre for the specific treatment of cardiomyopathies.
