The Emergency Department
The Emergency Department is a specialised facility operating 24 hours a day, which provides admission and intensive acute care to patients with sudden serious health problems and patients in immediate danger of death.
The Emergency Department consists of outpatient, observation, and resuscitation sections and is a single location where, based on the nature and severity of the disease, decisions are made about the method and course of treatment without the patient having to travel around the hospital complex to see individual specialists.
The order in which individual patients are treated is always determined by the severity of their condition, not by the time of arrival. Depending on the current workload of the facility, longer waiting times must be expected for less serious conditions.
For operational and capacity reasons, it is not possible to treat the following patients at the Emergency Department:
Workplace management

MUDr. Jan Čiernik
Head physician

MUDr. Barbora Truksová Zuchová
Deputy Head Physician

Bc. Petr Bauer
Head Nurse
